Studland Bay House has spectacular sea views with a large front terrace where you can have a Marquee installed for your special day.  You can also arrange to hire the house itself not only for the wedding day but for a period either side of your wedding for you and your guests. It is usually possible to book from Wednesday to Wednesday so it doesn’t really matter should you be thinking of a mid-week wedding ceremony. Thus making it the perfect setting for Studland Bay House Weddings. As such Studland Bay House Weddings are very popular throughout the Summer months so it is advised to book well in advance.

As a Dorset wedding photographer the stunning views that you can see in my photographs here enable me to capture your wedding photograph images with either the house as the backdrop or the stunning seascape of Studland. I’m also able to quickly take you to the beach for your photographs, other areas of the spectacular gardens or we could use the house itself. From a photographic point of view, this gives me plenty of areas to photograph you and your guests should the weather be not as dry as you would prefer! In other words, there is nothing to be concerned about with respect to your wedding album photography.

It is a truly magnificent classic Edwardian house with a civil ceremony license for Studland Bay House Weddings. I hope you can appreciate the backdrop idea that I’m referring to from the external photographs included on this page.

There is no shortage of places to stay for accommodation close by if you are attending Studland Bay House Weddings. You are very close to Wareham, Corfe and Swanage with plenty of overnight accommodation. As a Wareham based wedding photographer, I can recommend Mortons Manor in Corfe or the Grand Hotel, The Pines in Swanage or The Bear or Priory Hotel in Wareham. If you’re looking for somewhere with a bit more lively so to speak, hotels in Bournemouth and Poole are plentiful and the famous Sandbanks area such as the Sandbanks Hotel itself. There is also a large Travelodge in Poole within a short walking distance of the bustling Poole Quay.

For travelling to the venue, if you’re coming from the Swanage or Corfe direction, it is a very pleasurable short drive through Studland passing by Knoll Beach (ideal for photography) and head towards the Sandbanks Ferry with the venue is on your right. If coming from the Poole or Sandbanks direction, you’re probably advised to use the Sandbanks Ferry and is about 2 miles on your left.
