As a wedding photographer I’m able to capture your wedding photography from within the castle or with the sea and Swanage Bay or Old Harry Rocks as the backdrop. We’re also a very short distance from the beach or down into Swanage for your photography as there are many locations in the quieter areas in Swanage. I hope you can get an idea from my photographs of Swanage Bay, what a fantastic backdrop this will be for your photographs of you and your wedding party. From a photographer’s point of view, there is plenty of options both outside and inside for photographs should the weather not be what you would ideally like it to be.

It is a fantastic example of a classic English Castle with a civil ceremony license for both the Belvedere and the Foundation Gallery. I hope my photographs here of the of Swanage give you an idea of the backdrop I’m referring to for your wedding photographs.

There are numerous hotels in Swanage such as The Pines Hotel or The Grand Hotel and smaller hotels along with a wide choice of B&Bs. Alternatively, you are around 10 miles from Wareham where you may wish to stay at the Priory or The Bear hotels.

If you’re looking for somewhere different outside of the Victorian seaside town of Swanage or the Saxon town of Wareham, there are many hotels in Poole and Bournemouth. There is also a good-sized Travelodge in Poole within a short walking distance of Poole Quay that where you will find many fine restaurants and pubs.

If you plan to stay in Poole or Bournemouth, you will have the options of using the Sandbanks Ferry and driving through Studland to Swanage and onto Durlson Country Park or taking the longer drive round from Poole and onto the very beautiful town of Wareham with its famous Saxon Walls around the town itself.

If you decide to stay just a few miles away and take a look at Corfe Castle whilst visiting Durlston then there is Mortons Manor in Corfe which is very popular for accommodation.
